Miss Wales is Kate Middleton Lookalike

A Kate Middleton lookalike has just been crowned – crowned Miss Wales. The newly crowned Miss Wales, Sophie Moulds is the Welsh answer to the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

Moulds, 19, is a first year student studying for a business degree at Cardiff University. Like Middleton, Moulds is 5 feet 10 inches tall and is also slender with long dark hair and a bright smile.

Sophie beat thousands of other competitors in the country wide search to be crowned Miss Wales. The stunner who attended St John Baptist School in Aberdare, wowed judges and snapped up the tiara at the dazzling Miss Wales ceremony in Cardiff. Whilst currently studying for her first year exams at University and juggling her Miss Wales commitments, she is said to be flattered by the response she is receiving from the public, though she admits she has never previously been compared to the future Queen.

Sophie is very pleased at being thought of as a Kate Middleton lookalike and is delighted with the comparisons to the very popular Middleton, 30, who married Britain’s Prince William in a ceremony that was watched by billions of people around the world last April.

Sophie also spoke of her fondness of the Valleys, explaining “I think I had a really good childhood thinking back. It was so good; the sense of community around the Valleys is amazing. I’m so happy to have grown up here and proud to have grown up here.”

“I am so pleased to win and I’m really looking forward to going to Miss World,” she said in a statement posted on the Miss Wales website. “I hope that through my year I can inspire other young girls in the valleys to aim high and chase their dreams.”

As you would expect at a beauty pageant during the audition process there was an interview with judges, and an evening wear and party wear section where Sophie is said to have excelled.

Miss Wales organiser Paula Abbandanato went one step further saying “Sophie is an exceptionally beautiful girl who is being tipped to do well in Miss World. I am sure Kate Middleton will be equally delighted to know she has been compared to Sophie!”

It is clear the Kate Middleton look is really appealing at the moment and for the organisers of the 2012 Miss Wales, it would seem they have found the perfect winner in Sophie Moulds; modest, elegant and let’s face it – rather hot!

“Hmmmm…i don’t tend to fit in a “type” i don’t think. I like all music (maybe not the screamer stuff). I like the countryside just as much as the city (lived in a tent for awhile and city centres).”

“I dress how i feel, so i can look like a walking rainbow or a goth type depending on the day-I cannot dye my hair brightly anymore so instead it is shaved underneath my current bob with patterns that i can display if i’m in the mood! I am not a sheep- i do not believe in blindly following the masses- i am unique as we all are- but i really live it!”

“I love watching films-tend to go at least once a week, i like eating out, walks, dancing,drink occasionally,don’t smoke. Imogen Thomas gets her tits out is a crude way of saying Imogen Thomas has flashed her boobs. Last weekend, the ex Miss Wales posted a rather fabulous picture of her breasts on Twitter to show her support for the Welsh rugby team before a match last weekend against Italy.

The former Big brother star wasn’t in the country to watch the rugby though – instead she was sunning herself on holiday in Thailand, with her current boyfriend, city trader Adam Horsley.

After the match had finished and Wales had won, 30 years old Imogen tweeted: Well done boys! Grandslam here we come!

Now, we are sure the Welsh rugby team had other things on their minds than reading her tweets, but it is good to see Imogen showing her support in such a unique way.

Navy boy Adam from Middlesborough picked Welsh beauty Mimi Rees from Llandudno in a recent episode of the hit TV show Take Me Out but Mimi is now back in Wales looking for love.

Despite enjoying her date with Adam, 20 year old Take Me Out contestant Mimi admits she wishes she’d remembered the show’s catchphrase “if you’re turned off, turn off” and turned her light off – the show’s way of showing she didn’t want to date him.

After failing to find that spark of love on their date on the mysterious Isle of Fernandos, she’s now back in Wales on the lookout for a boyfriend, preferably one she won’t get bored of easily.

The host of the ITV show Take Me Out Paddy McGuiness often says “no likey, no lighty” to the thirty flirty girls, but support worker Mimi forgot. She says “When I got down to the final two I was really regretting leaving the light on. I wish I’d waited a bit longer so I could’ve found someone I actually fancied.”


Surprisingly she says “I’ve never been in a proper relationship, I’ve pretty much always been single.”

Welsh beauty Mimi says: “I go on a lot of dates with guys, but I’m quite independent and I like doing my own thing so it doesn’t usually progress to anything serious.”
